Bus Parking
Attention all Group Leaders!
The parking of buses on Philadelphia city streets is no longer permitted. This includes the Schuylkill River Bridge on the JFK Parkway where, in the past, buses visiting The Franklin Institute have been directed to park.
The Philadelphia Parking Authority has identified the Callowhill Bus Center at 2nd & Callowhill Streets as the designated location for buses visiting the Ben Franklin Parkway attractions to park. The Philadelphia Visitors and Convention Bureau has information available on their website, as well as a map with a recommended route to the parking facility at: www.pcvb.org/traveltrade/bus-parking.asp.
The Callowhill Bus Center has accommodations for bus drivers including a lounge, television, vending and other amenities. The facility is also secured and monitored round the clock. There is a fee of $20.00 per bus that covers parking all day with unlimited re-entry. This fee is to be paid upon arrival to the lot.
