Pepper Hall and the Patent Library define elegance. As the first Patent Library of the United States, this space exudes the confidence and history of Philadelphia.
After their grand entrance through the top of the Pendulum Staircase, guests enter the East wing. Wide plank oak floors reach across the expansive ballroom and meet windows stretched a full story in length. In between courses, cocktails, or presentations, guests can gaze onto City Hall, the Art Museum, the Cathedral, and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway from a most unique vantage point.
The carved and hand painted ceiling awes each visitor and invokes a reaction of astonishment regarding its craftsmanship. Frog Commissary can utilize the multiple, built-in mahogany bookshelves for displays or set them as a backdrop for bartenders.
Closed to the public, this part of the Museum offers guests the feeling of exclusivity. This space offers hosts a chance to introduce their party to a secret place within a familiar destination.
