Design Your Own Grade Specific Trip
Tailor your field trip to meet the particular needs of your class. Chose from a variety of traveling and permanent exhibits, IMAX films, Planetarium shows and free daily demonstrations.
NEW Experiential Packages
The new full-day Experiential Packages the Institute initiated last year were so popular that this fall we have added a new comprehensive experience on Darwin and evolution, including a program specifically for high school students. There is also a clearly defined program in biology/anatomy for high school students. All packages provide grades 3–5, 6–8 and 9–12 with a day of immersive, hands-on experiences focused on a single topic.
  • The Giant Heart Experience
  • The Darwin Experience
  • The Galactic Adventure Experience
Each Experience includes a featured exhibit; live theater program; IMAX or Planetarium show; topic related workshop; plus admission to permanent exhibits and daily demonstrations. Available by reservation only.
