Reservations are required for all visits in order to receive special reduced school rates. Minimum group size is 15 students; 30 for Experiential Packages.

Confirmation Packet
After you have made your reservation, you will receive a confirmation packet
in the mail with detailed information about final payment, bus drop-off and
parking, the Sci-Store, and storing coats and lunches. For driving directions
and additional parking information visit www.fi.edu/travel.
Cancellation Reminder
There are no refunds for visits cancelled less than 14 days before the date of
your scheduled visit. Credits will be issued, good for 365 days from date of
originally scheduled visit. Institute reservationists will make every effort to
reschedule your trip.
Chaperone Policy
Children should be accompanied at all times during their visit. The Institute
requires at least one chaperone over the age of 21 for every ten children;
they will be admitted at a special rate. Additional adults accompanying
the group are welcome and will be charged the group admission fee.
Chaperones include teachers, school staff and other adults. Chaperones
who have been briefed on your goals and itinerary in advance can help make
your class visit more meaningful. Chaperone rate does not apply
on weekends.

- reviewed correlations to state and national standards attached to each online exhibit description?
- visited free in advance to plan your trip?Teachers visit free with school ID card (additional fee for IMAX and special exhibits).
- gone to www.fi.edu/teacherresources for downloadable educational materials and Teachers’ Guides? Print out activities for before and after your trip!

- prepared chaperones for your visit? Read and sign the Chaperone Information and Agreement form located online at www.fi.edu/chaperoneinformation.
- read the Institute’s deposit, payment and cancellation policies? Reservations are required for all group visits, including Museum programs and lunchroom space. A final headcount, signed letter of agreement and a 25% non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required at least 2 weeks before date of visit. Please note: Specialty-ticket exhibits and Experiential Packages must be paid in full two weeks prior to your visit.
