Discovery Camp, The Franklin Institute's popular summer program for children grades K-8, now includes both winter and spring break, as well as school holidays like Martin Luther King's Birthday, Presidents' Day, and Columbus and Veteran's Day.
Students: Don't waste your Spring Break, spend it with us! Five new programs, with five different science themes offered. This spring, campers can be part of one, or up to five, all-new programs. Each program includes a special activity, exhibit exploration, workshop, and a theater show. Spring Break Camp is for students K-8.
Flight: April 6 & 13
See how the four forces of flight get things off the ground, and build some amazing flying machines that really work!
Superhero Science: April 7 & 14
Mutations? X-Ray vision? Superhuman reflexes? Could your favorite superhero's powers ever exist in real life? Check out the science behind superheroes.
Itsy Bitsy Science: April 8 & 15
Learn how scientists study the nano-world inside and around you. This cool science is right before your eyes, but 10,000 times smaller than the width of a human hair!
Science of Art: April 9 & 16
Explore how artists use color, light, patterns, and motion to create beautiful works of art that are full of SCIENCE! Take some of your own masterpieces home.
Go Green: April 10 & 17
Spring is here and so are all things green. Join us as we explore how things grow and what effect living things have on each other, including the impact you have on the world all around you.

Registration Fees: $70 per child/day. (Become a member and receive 10% off Registration Fees!) Discounts offered for multiple days.

Staff will be available for early drop-off and pickups.
Early Arrival, 8-9am: $6 per child/per day
Late Departure, 4-5:30pm: $8 per child/per day
We provide a snack and drinks. Campers will need to bring their lunch or order one from our food service provider.
Campers are grouped based on their grade or home-school level. Age Group refers to the grade campers are entering during the upcoming school year.
