Do you think you know all there is to know about dinosaurs? Think again! Explore the process of fossilization; see how paleontologists know where to look for dinosaurs and make a cool dinosaur cast of your own.

Monday, September 17 - Science Rocks
The Earth is undergoing changes all the time, some slow and quiet, others sudden and violent. In this workshop, students will investigate the rock cycle from erosion and sedimentation to earthquakes and volcanoes.
Tuesday, September 18 - Fly High with TFI (The Franklin Institute)
Students will travel back in time as they study the history of the Wright Brothers most famous accomplishment and the forces and mechanics of flight that made it possible. Students will get to see various artifacts from the Wright Brothers' experiment and an original Wright Model B Flyer.
Wednesday, September 26 - Pixels, Pigments and Perspective
Einstein knew there was a lot of creativity in science, but did you know that there science in creativity? From color mixing, to music composition, to tricks you can play on your brain, learn how art and science go hand in hand.
Monday, October 8 - Fall for Science
Fall is the perfect time to experiment with the changes going on all around us. Join us as we explore the changing season...and maybe explode a pumpkin or two!
Tuesday, November 6 - Shipwrecked!
How do vessels the size of the Titanic stay afloat? What makes one object float and another object sink? Experiment with buoyancy and ship design and find out what happens when things don't go quite as planned.
Monday, November 12 - Mystery in the Museum
There is a mystery in the museum and we are calling on all Discovery Camp sleuths to help us solve it. Put your forensics skills to the test as we analyze evidence and test scenarios to figure out "who-dun it."
The School's Out Camp program is offered for children in grades Pre-K-6.
Special sessions include a day-long science experience at The Franklin Instituteincluding all supplies, snacks, theater shows, and exhibit exploration.
Sessions: 9:00AM-4:00PM
