Who Goes To Camp-In?
Families, youth groups, scout troops, schools and other organizations with children between the ages of 6 and 13.

 

Arrival: 6pm - 7pm. Please be prompt as activities begin
at 7 p.m.
Departure: 9:30 a.m. the next morning
You can stay until noon! Once your gear is stored safely out of the Museum. Campers with their wristband IDs are welcome to stay in the Science Museum until noon at no additional charge.
Cost: $41 per person-youth organization discount for scouts, schools, etc.
$39 per person-members
$43 per person-child or adult

Registration
Pre-Registration required. Please return the registration contract, along with a 25% deposit.

At least one chaperone for every five campers is required. Please register with the exact number of participants (including chaperones), or your minimum anticipated number. If you need to increase your group size, please call the Camp-In registrar first to ask if space is available.

You will be responsible for full payment and final group size three weeks before your Camp-In date.

Confirmation
Once your 25% deposit is received, you will receive a “Survival Guide” with your confirmation, directions, orientation materials, and more.

Survival Guide for Group Leaders
The Survival Guide (PDF) you receive provides detailed information on what to bring, parking, health and safety policies and provisions, meals, emergency contact numbers, and other information that group leaders will find useful. Returning groups—please note that, per the Philadelphia Fire Marshall, no air mattresses are permitted at Camp-In.

Automobile Parking
Parking is available in the electronically-monitored garage under The Franklin Institute. The Camp-In discount rate of $7.50 applies from 5 p.m. until noon the following day.

After attending Camp-In, please fill out the Camp-In Evaluation Form. Your feedback will help us improve the Camp-In experience for everyone!
