ABOUT THE BENEFACTOR SOCIETY

Whether examining the Wright Brothers' sketches firsthand in The Franklin Air Show, traversing the ventricles of the Institute's celebrated walk-through Heart, sizing up Neil Armstrong's space suit in Space Command, or soaring above the Philadelphia skyline in the Tuttleman IMAX® Theater, over 933,779 visitors experience the vanguard of hands-on science and technology learning each year at The Franklin Institute.

The Benefactor Society ensures that these learning opportunities continue both inside the walls of the Institute's landmark building and beyond, through outreach programs such as the Traveling Science Shows and the Institute's highly-visited website, www.fi.edu.

When you join The Benefactor Society, you will not only help to provide free or significantly reduced admission to The Franklin Institute for more than 300,000 schoolchildren each year, you will also have the opportunity to become an active participant in the Philadelphia philanthropic community.

Members of The Benefactor Society can look forward to exclusive invitations to a variety of events at the Institute, including IMAX® previews, receptions with renowned experts in science and technology, and the annual Benefactor Society Reception.

Your support of The Benefactor Society has the potential to inspire future aviators, cardiologists, astronauts, engineers, and educators. In addition, your gift will entitle you, your family, and friends to fantastic membership benefits.
