The hidden message within “Klara’s Dream”… “Alseep we fly and even soar; dreams when awake mean even more.” Actively follow my dream? Dream and do nothing? The decision to pursue a dream and make it part of my life changed the way I see myself. I’m a mosaic artist!

How does this piece of artwork represent your IDENTITY?
Growing up, one of the most comforting feelings was the anticipation of a special family meal together. The smells, and the hustle and bustle of preparations would permeate the house and fill me with joyful suspense. Spending the Jewish Shabbat with my family and friends, the anticipation still fills me with joy. My identity is truly intertwined with family and spirituality.

My experiences as a dancer, artist, teacher, wife, mother, sister, and daughter are my inspirations. I captured the joy and pain of my life through line, color and symbolism.

“Nightwatch”

Home: Philadelphia, PA
How does this piece of artwork represent your IDENTITY?
This painting represents interior snapshots I take in my head each day living in the city. As I travel from my South Philadelphia residential neighborhood to my studio on the outskirts of Kensington I am fascinated by the change and degradation of architecture. For the last year I have tried to capture this viewpoint.
