SCIENCE PARK

Weather Permitting, May through September Only

The Franklin Institute and The Please Touch Museum combine forces to present Science Park. From May through September, the Park is open seven days a week from 10:00AM to 3:00PM, weather permitting.

Science Park is a 25,000 square foot park conveniently located in the backyard of The Franklin Institute and just across the street from the Please Touch Museum®. It is a permanent outdoor fair-weather exhibit designed to be interactive and fun in a safe, clean environment. Children can learn about science by playing miniature golf, swinging on a swing set, and testing out many more devices designed to get kids excited about learning. Sundials, sand pendulums, hide-and-seek tunnels, and mini-periscopes help ensure that fun and games are a part of each science lesson.

Only visitors with valid admission to The Franklin Institute may enter Science Park from inside the Museum. Please Touch Museum® admission holders are also permitted to use Science Park, but must enter via the 21st Street entrance. For more information, call 215.448.1200.
